Why is there information on a long-distance phone company on a medical website?
It's because where I practice, here in Northeast Ohio, we have high interstate and very high in-state local toll call rates due to multiple smaller phone companies in a relatively small geographic area. Most lower cost long distance carriers refuse to serve the Northeast Ohio area because of high connections costs.
